Notables: Sibella Court

While scouring my favorite design blogs, I’ve noticed a buzz about an Australian interior stylist named Sibella Court and she’s now one of my biggest sources of inspiration. She’s a self proclaimed hoarder (no, not like the kind you see on A&E) but she’s more like a sophisticated collector who finds inspiration in everything from Parisian art to sharpened pencils. I’ve been working my way through her book Etcetera (HIGHLY recommended!) which features one of a kind displays of her collections in several of her signature 10-colour palettes. The same schemes are featured in her Australian Shop, The Society Inc, which is soon launching an online store! Without further ado, here’s a few samples of her unbelievable creations and my ideas for translating them to unique elements for your wedding!

{a scrapbook turned guestbook to commemorate your memories and well-wishes, A stunning color palette of deep teals and maroons, a center piece of vintage glass jars, a tablescape for a vintage beach affair, a collection of heirlooms to be pinned to your bouquet, a unique photobooth (times two) and a collection of jewel tone boxes to pack the memories of the day in}
{a collection of beach elements strewn across a dessert bar, a stunning lantern to hang above a table at an intimate affair, mismatched vintage china, a collection of old love letters, test tubes filled with location elements or old jars of the same, tables set with shimmering glasses and bamboo chairs, a shadow box of elements you used for inspiration displayed for your guests to view and a simple bouquet of hydrangea}

Coming up next: A preview of tomorrow's color inspiration featuring more of Sibella's work!

Aspiring to Inspire,
Kelly
